AnthroSafe

AnthroSafe by SLP Alaska, LLC

Easier to use than to complain about.

AnthroSafe is field-first, phone-first safety management. The idea is the carrot, not the stick: help people work safely, and help them go home safely.

Owned by Brian Walden, a Certified Safety Professional with 25 years in the field.

A sketch of the risk control conversation. It is not a live screen, and it shows no scores.

Try it on this site.

Open the sample portal.

Click through HSE forms, SAIL, training, fleet, incidents, bulletins, and leading-indicator counts. The company in the tour is fictional.

File a hazard on your phone.

Fill a hazard card. Submit it and a sample bulletin appears. The card stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or a portal.

How the work should feel

The carrot, not the stick

The portal is there to help a person work safely, not to catch them out. A record should feel like support.

Easier to use than to complain about

If a form is slower than a grumble, it will not get filled in. The field screen has to win that argument.

Field-first and phone-first

The person at the task is the primary user. The office opens the same record afterward.

Go home safely

The purpose is to help people work safely and go home safely. The software is a tool for that work.

Safety management

Ask what can seriously hurt you.

The Risk Control Conversation starts before the task. A crew names what can seriously hurt them, then names the energy in the work. Gravity, motion, mechanical, electrical, pressure, temperature, and chemical energy are the kinds of energy the conversation is built to surface. The crew ranks the control they will use in three tiers.

When the work is high energy and the chosen control is not a strong one, AnthroSafe raises an alert on serious injury and fatality potential. The alert is a prompt to pick a stronger control. It is not a prediction, and it is not a claim that someone will go unhurt.

  • The question: what can seriously hurt you on this task?
  • The energy types present in the work
  • A three-tier ranking of the control
  • An alert when high-energy work lacks a strong control

The record sits next to that conversation. Near miss, hazard identification, and incident forms are built for a phone. The same library holds more than 75 field forms, plus audits and inspections, so the note is made where the work is.

LMS training

Training in the language the crew uses.

Courses are offered in English and in Spanish. Certificates can be issued in both languages. Compliance reporting shows what is assigned and what is finished, so a supervisor is not hunting through inboxes.

That report is a record of training activity. It is not a legal opinion, and it does not by itself put a company in compliance.

Certificates can be issued in English and in Spanish. Names on this sketch are labels, not people.

Fleet Manager

Maintenance in the same place as the rest of the work.

Included, in development

Fleet Manager is included with AnthroSafe and is still in development. It is meant to take the place of a separate maintenance tool. Work orders, preventive maintenance by days, miles, or hours, parts and inventory, and an asset hierarchy live with the safety record, not behind a second login.

  • Work orders
  • Preventive maintenance by days, miles, or hours
  • Parts and inventory
  • An asset hierarchy, from the unit down to the component
Fleet Manager is included and in development. The schedule shows days, miles, and hours, not a sample reading.

SDS and the chemical library

Start from the label in front of you.

Photograph a label and file the safety data sheet with that chemical. QR codes open the sheet on a phone, so the library is reachable from the container, not only from a desk.

Photograph a label, then open the safety data sheet from a QR code. The squares here are a sketch, not a working code.

SAIL

An action item without an owner is a wish.

SAIL tracks action items from incidents, inspections, and ordinary follow-up. Every action item gets an owner, so the next step has a name beside it.

Safety bulletins

Tell the crew what happened, without naming who.

When an incident or a near miss is recorded, AnthroSafe can prepare a safety bulletin on its own. The bulletin is printable and emailable. Names are left off.

Quality management

Quality, in the same rhythm as safety.

ISO 9001-style quality management sits beside the safety work: documents, responsibilities, and follow-through in one portal. It is a way of organizing the work. It is not an ISO 9001 certificate, and AnthroSafe does not issue one.

Leading indicators

Leading indicators you can explain.

Dashboards bring the activity into one view: conversations, forms, actions with owners, and training. Any score is a rule-based leading indicator. It is not a validated prediction, and it does not estimate the chance of an injury.

Labels only. Scores are rule-based leading indicators, not validated predictions, and none are shown here.

White-label portal

One portal, your company name on the door.

Each company gets a portal under its own name. Modules can be switched on or off, so people in the field see the tools that are actually in use.

A company portal with modules switched on or off. The name on the door is a placeholder.
